Caroline studied the violin with Howard Davis and Marianne Thorsen at the Royal Academy of Music where she gained a BMus (Hons) and a postgraduate diploma.
Caroline was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra for three years and in her final year, was principal second violin on tour to Eastern Europe and Russia. She was leading the section when the orchestra performed in the Royal Albert Hall conducted by Bernard Haitink as part of the BBC Proms.
Caroline has also played with the Orchestra of St Johns Smith Square, the Moscow Ballet, the New London Soloists and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. She has played with Paul McCartney and Will Young and performed with jazz musician Dominic Alldis in the Wigmore Hall.
